Shutdown due to Loss of Power
This warning appears when the printer has not been shut down correctly due to a loss of power or being mistakenly unplugged before the printer completed the “power off” sequence. In most cases, electronics will not be damaged. This type of shut down skips the necessary flush leaving dried ink left in the printhead. The printhead will need cleaning.

Powering On and Off the Printer

Use the “clean printhead” function if the power was disconnected while the jet was on. From the home screen with the jet turned off, press the button with the brush icon and select “clean printhead.”

Performing a Backflush
If the jet does not start properly, perform a backflush on the printhead nozzle.
